At Oklahoma Landscape we combine the best fertilizers not only for the season, but type of turf that is present, the most effective weed management materials, & lime for our acidic soil conditions. Our materials are excellent, but even a great program won’t create a beautiful lawn unless the materials are applied by licensed, experienced, & committed technicians, at the right time of the year. We understand what your lawn’s specific needs are and how to treat different grasses that you may have (Zoysia, Fescue, Bermuda).

Oklahoma Landscape’s Seven Step Signature Program to a thick, green, beautiful lawn!

Round 1 - Bermuda grass: A base layer of pre-emergent applied to help control against early spring weeds. Spray post emergents for over-wintering broadleaf weeds including crab grass and dandelions. Fescue grass: Fertilize the turf with a  high quality nitrogen fertilizer that will also assist in enhancing turf color and help your fescue start the season off strong.

Round 2 - Bermuda grass: A slow release fertilizer applied along with spot spraying for existing weeds that may be present. Spray for broadleaf weeds including chickweed, clover and henbit. Fescue grass: Fertilize the turf with quality high nitrogen fertilizer that will also assist in enhancing the turf and continue to keep your lawn strong and healthy.

Round 3 - Bermuda grass: Echelon pre-emergent will be applied as a booster for summer weeds as well as a pre-emergent to help control nutgrass. The slow release fertilizer from round 2 is still feeding your Bermuda grass. Fescue grass: Fertilize the turf using a non-burning organic fertilizer.

Round 4 - Bermuda grass: A mid-summer application of slow-release nitrogen along with iron will ensure your lawn  stays green all season without the risk of burning up in the extreme heat of Oklahoma summers! We will also spot spray any weeds or nutsedge that are present. Fescue grass: Fertilize the turf using with an organic fertilizer that will also assist in amending the soil and introduce nutrients back into the soil as well to enhance turf color and vigor.

Round 5 - Bermuda grass: A late summer fertilizer application balanced with nutrients will not only keep your lawn green headed into cooler weather, but also strengthen your turf for the often difficult winter months. We will also spot spray any weeds or nutsedge that are present. Fescue grass: Fertilize the turf using an organic fertilizer that will also assist in amending the soil and introducing nutrients back into the soil as well to enhance turf color and vigor.

Round 6 - Bermuda grass: A combination of pre- & post-emergent products will keep your lawn healthy over the winter months and protect against common seasonal weeds such as Annual Bluegrass & Henbit. Fescue grass: Winter fertilizer application.

Round 7 - Bermuda and Fescue grass: A Lime application in addition to correcting soil acidity; it adds calcium and magnesium to soil. Such nutrients are important to preserve a lawn's color and vigor and protect from damage caused by heat, drought and traffic stress. Lime will also balance your soils Ph and allow optimum nutrient uptake for your lawn's health.
